California adult schools have been around for 100 years and have helped transform lives and local economies. Unfortunately, they are often a “best kept secret,” making it difficult for those who could benefit from their programs to find out about them. However, adult schools have formed partnerships with workforce investment boards, community-based organizations and employer organizations, working together to achieve mutual goals.
N&R Publications uses professional journalists to tell the stories of real people who have benefited from their experience with adult schools and their partners. The stories will be shared by both the schools and their partners, extending their reach.
